A near-death experience ends with a young girl a new bionic hero and a new teacher. And even worse experience lands her in her mentor's basement with the bionic humans that saved her.
As Vanessa learns to control her bionics, she has to keep it a secret from everyone around her. With no way of ever having a normal life again, Vanessa has to turn to someone with the same problem so she won't go completely insane.
