He keeps his eyes down, attempting to hold back a smile. But when he looks up at me, one side leans upward, giving me a half grin that makes me feel like I'm flying.

His lips are on my ear again. "I really want to kiss you again."

He pulls back, waiting for my reaction, and he gets it in a subtle nod. I notice that in the sunlight shining in from his window, his eyes look blue, not the gray that I'm used to seeing. That's my last thought before his lips are on mine.




Set mostly over the course of one night, this story describes the relationship of Lilly and Aric, the ups the downs, the beginning the end, and everything in between.
