Cardinal (Legends of Tomorrow)

Phoenix Merlyn or Maximoff as she likes to call herself, was the one and only Cardinal. After tragic events that had happened, she was believed to be dead. Too many people she was, and they had good reason to believe. She had disappeared on of the face of the Earth. This Earth that is. She has been in a separate universe, part of the team people know as the Avengers. To her it has been 5 years since she saw everyone, but to others it has only been a year or so.

When a day at the new Avengers facility brings her face to face with a Brit in a trench coat telling her and her half-brother they have another chance to save the world, in her original universe, they both jumps at the opportunity. Seeing familiar faces and stirring up new feelings isn't the only thing strange going on. The person they are trying to defeat, Vandal Savage, has a strange fascination with Phoenix and her powers. Oh yeah, and he wants to kill her. There's that too.
