Sighing, George ran a hand through his locks. Turning around, he eyed down the East door of the Glade. His eyes narrowed. He was going back in there and he was going to find his way out this hell hole. Or at least, He'd die trying. When a boy suddenly appears on the North gate of the Glade instead of the box, George couldn't help but feel uneasy. On one hand, he would absolutely treat the boy with respect, he was one of their own. But on the other hand, the glowing eyes at night and weird demeanors couldn't help but make George questions him. Why did he come from the maze? Why was he so determined to be a Runner? And why did George suddenly growing a weird affection towards the dude?

Panic

Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" Trigger Warnings throughout the book include - Panic attacks, anxiety attacks, vomiting, passing out, suicidal thoughts, attempt suicide, rude language, and physical violence.
