It's 2005 and teen wolf Derek Hale is entering sophomore year at high school. His quiet, reserved and mysterious nature isolates him from other classmates. This means he has little to no social life -which is fine by him. Less friends equals less drama and teenage dramatics is the last thing he wants.
But a new year can make a new person.
Is Derek hiding something? A secret talent? Is there a girl involved? And what will happen when he crosses paths with an older man claiming to be his future self?

The Convention
Derek is at a convention, no, THE convention. The convention that Alphas meet at twice a year, every year, to pick their omega. Derek is a very well known Alpha. He's strong, has good ancestors, and has gone through lots of omega training. He knows what he's doing and everyone else knows that as well.
