While living in Phoenix, Bella had a friend named Layla Shaw. Both of them were inseparable. Until one day when Layla's parents were murdered in a drive by shooting. Not only that but when she testified against them in court, they let them go and tried to send her into foster care. Layla ran away and nobody saw her again. Bella was devastated. But one day in Forks, there is a news report that two people are attacking the gangs and criminals in the country. Could it be her long-lost friend? If it is, will Bella ever get her friend back?
