The Danes Girl and the Gilmore Guy

When Luke Danes was 16 his dad was sick and his girlfriend was pregnant. Enter his new daughter Rory Danes. 16 years later, it's just Rory, Luke, and the diner. Luke is learning more about how to father his teenage girl every day.

The diner's most frequent customer has her own story. Lorelai Gilmore. Lorelai grew up in Hartford society and rebelled against it at every opportunity. Her sister Liz rebelled in what would be considered unthinkable in society. Liz got pregnant at 16 and bolted. She moved to New York and raised her son Jess. Lorelai played the waiting game and left at 18. Now Liz says Jess is out of control and is sending him to live with Lorelai.

A question of nature vs nurture, how does Rory change if she has Luke as a parent? And how will Jess react to being sent to live with Lorelai? (If you can't already tell this is an AU)
