Leta's parents mysteriously went missing when she was a baby. She was left in the guardianship of her only grandmother, growing up in a muggle village called Rye, wondering where she had come from and what happened to her parents. Her grandmother, burdened by grief refuses to talk about them, raised Leta alone. To this day, Leta knows nothing more of her parents other than two names: Brontë and Charles.

Of course, that was all about to change. With summer coming to a close and fifth year round the corner, Leta goes through both physical and emotional changes as she nears the end of her school life. She anxiously awaits seeing her friends, Ron, Harry, and Hermione again having spent the whole summer without hearing from them; being forced to seek solace from the only other person in the village who was gifted with magic, Dean Thomas. Having locked heads with each other since the minute they met when they were babies, a single summer together forms an unlikely friendship to find out the truth about both Leta's and Dean's absent parents. Will they find what they're looking for? or lose themselves trying.

The Wizarding War had been won and professor McGonagall had filled the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts. Harry and Ginny were still together and their relationship was better than ever. Hermione and Ron were still together as well, but the war had started to make Hermione think. Workers of the Ministry for Magic had been send out to find Hermione's parents and when they had found them in Australia, they had brought them to the Ministry where they undid Hermione's memory-erase spell on them. Hermione had gone back home to be with her parents, Harry had gone with Ginny and Ron back to the Weasley's home and Draco Malfoy had returned to the cold and dark Malfoy Manor with his mother. When she was born, he was terrified that she would have the werewolf curse like him, but she wasn't cursed like him. She had a few characteristics, but she wasn't a werewolf. Enid was the same age as Fred and George Weasley, so during school, they were her best friends. They did everything together, and they loved her like a sister. It was as if there was triplets instead of twins, but she never did go to the Burrow. She was too worried about her father to leave him during any holidays or breaks. Enid had met Fred and George's little brother and sister, but she never did formally meet any of their older siblings. She knew of them, but she never met them, not even the brother that was a prefect then the Headboy. Anyway, Enid had dropped out of school with the twins to work at the joke shop, and that was just how things kicked off. Years later, when You-Know-Who attacked Hogwarts to kill Harry Potter, that's when Enid lost almost everything. She felt scared and lost, but at least she still had her uncle and her little brother. She also had her sweet baby, who had been born only a short bit of time after the war. She hadn't expected things to go uphill after losing so much, but things seemed to slowly start getting better for the girl...
