The Adventures of a Teenage Con-Artist

Stuck. That’s all fifteen year old Nicole Edwards ever felt in her hometown of Silverlake. But how could you not in a town where everyone knew each other and nobody ever left. With plans of escaping to study at her dream university, Nic has little else on her mind. That is, until her snarky best friend, Libby, convinces her that the only real way to break free is by breaking the rules.

What started out as a simple act of teenage rebellion quickly causes Nic’s life to do a complete 180 degree flip when the arrogant and infamous Aiden Campbell catches her and Libby, stealing from their local shopping centre. However, just when the girls think their luck is over, they are manipulated into a car heist that rivals anything they’ve ever seen on television, leaving Nic at a cross roads – between doing what’s right and what’s easy.

With the help of Aiden’s crew, the girls set out to steal the cars, only to come face to face with the owners – Australia’s biggest crime family. Just when the crew, having sold the stolen cars to a shady auto shop, think they’re out of harm’s way; crime boss Bobby gives them an ultimatum – return his cars or die. With no other choice but to obey – Aiden and Nic make a deal with the auto shop owner, Dom, to replace the crime boss’ cars with thirteen other cars. Although, where they’ll find all the right ones in one night is the real issue

With so much going on, Nic has nothing but questions on her mind. Like, why is Aiden’s sister, Sasha always disappearing when she’s needed most? Why is Libby giving her the cold shoulder; and how’s she supposed to focus on getting Bobby’s cars back when Aiden insists on flirting with her every chance he gets?
