"You're from Spring Hill High, aren't ya?", Matthew asked as he stopped at a red light. Luciana stared at Matthew and his expertise. "How did you-" "You seemed familiar", Matthew said without gazing away from the road. "My friend is new there", Matthew added. Luciana raised his left eyebrow. "And?", she questioned. "And you might see him around there", Matthew replied. "What makes you think that I would talk to this friend of yours?", Luciana asked the rust-colored-eye boy. "He's a tough guy but I bet he'd wanna get to know you somehow. He always gets the ladies", Matthew mumbles the last part in a little tone of jealousy. Lucy got interested in this secret buddy and wanted to ask more questions. "What's his name?", Lucy said while trying to sound less interested. "Finn Wolfhard. King of South Carolina's pubs", Matthew joked. A drunker, great, Luciana thought. "Seems tough. I'll pass on that case", Lucy stated. They had arrived at Lucy's homes parking lot.
"At least help him with school and shit. He's failing", Matthew said but this time appearing deadly serious. Lucy got out of the car and looked back at Matthew. "I'm not a tutor, never will be", she simply stated. Matthew followed along to help the poor girl walk to their front door. "Just think about it. I know it seems weird but he's my best friend ever since birth and he's been through so much shit already. All he needs is a friend. A friend at school who could look after him and make sure that his okay. A person as stunning as you would be nice", Matthew suggested.
