Detective Ned Needle is on the brink of getting fired. He has made no progress with any of his assignments, and this is his last chance at redemption. Whispers of gruesome murders of farm animals are sweeping the area, and to make things worse, a thick layer of fog has settled on the town, giving the culprit cover. The only clue that Needle has leads him to a run down old farm, miles from the small town, where an elderly farmer lives with his rumored deranged son who tends to the grounds every now and then.
