"I sensed a compliment in there, commander... You getting soft on me now." Clarke's voice became dangerously flirty as I thought of a come back, but nothing, just my cheeks are probably on fire. This girl will be the death of me.

"You may be the commander, but I'm the commander of death. And I say we will meet again." Following the events of the season five finale, the last human survivors have arrived on a new planet, where they are quick to realise that they are not alone. There is human life on the planet. An intelligent civilisation who have access to technology, far more advanced than anything those from Earth have ever seen. Shortly after arriving, Clarke is approached by a scientist who is intrigued by the technology used in the Spirit of the Commanders, and delivers her a proposition that is almost too good to be true. It's a problem for Clarke - she has her Christmas traditions and there's only so much she can do in a hotel room. It's a problem for Lexa, too - for entirely different reasons. Clarke and Lexa have been the best of friends for years, perhaps the closest of all in their group of friends. The connection, chemistry and comfort that they share is unmatched by any of their other friends. Everyone knows that when they're both single things tend to happen between them. It a comfort thing. A no strings attached thing. A thing that they both silently understand. But, do they really? (Clexa ) After Lexa's death Clarke hadn't yet had the time to properly process her death. Yes she realize Lexa was gone but it didn't sink in...she hadn't gotten closure. After all she was too busy leading and one thing came and then the next and she always put everyone above herself and her feelings where pushed aside. Better Together
Clarke has been going to school in Polis for as long as she can remember. She has everything a girl could want. Friends, family, and good grades. She's always been a good kid and never one to step out of line, aside from the occasional party, but, like every human being, she's suffered. She struggled with a lot within her "perfect" bubble, but when Lexa moves to Polis, her life is turned upside down... for the better. Lexa never had it easy growing up. She had everything she wanted until it was taken away suddenly. The rest of her life was hectic and messy. She had a lot of trauma and baggage, but she managed to keep her head up. She always kept good grades and she worked out a lot, but she never really had friends or a family until she moved to Polis I'm not sure I'll ever understand why 22k+ people read this story O_OComplete
