Mathew Henderson a soldier destined to die on the beach during operation overlord during ww2 mysteriously find himself on in a land full of "cryptic bullshit" In his quotes. He goes through many challenges and "people" in finding a way back home and has to learn new ways to survive in this so called City of Babel which he learns that it's connected to something much more sinister then he could comprehend.
Will the Lost One Mathews be able to beat the odds against him? He believes he's no hero but he does believe he will get back to his people no matter the cost even if he breaks the last thread of sanity he hold through out his journey.
