Beasts with fangs, claws and tentacles overrun the cities defenses, and evil men shrouded in living shadows hunt for the Etherium. Alesson and Linta are forced to flee the city on an amazing adventure, filled with deadly perils, epic battles and startling revelations. The twins and their amazing crystal creatures are pursued by the shadow clad Kashant and his army of blackened monsters to the snow covered city at the top of the world. The twins must seek out the great Sapphire Snow Guardian and use its power to destroy the darkness once and for all.
