In the aftermath of the events at Guanyin temple, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian have been peacefully living their lives, with Lan Wangji performing his duties as the new Chief Cultivator and Wei Wuxian adjusting to life in Cloud Recesses. But a fatal encounter with an old enemy leads the duo to the veiled cultivator, who tells them a shocking secret. Realizing that everything they've known is only half the story, they embark on a quest to unravel the other half. But as the second half unfolds, they not only uncover secrets of their own past, but also their ancestors'.
This story is based on the Chinese TV Series The Untamed, which is based on the novel Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu.
This story will follow The Untamed and continue from where the last episode of Special Edition ended.
I finished watching The Untamed recently and haven't been able to move on. There are so many amazing characters I've gotten attached to. I wished some of the characters had happier endings. This is my way of making it happen.

The Untamed - Extended Ending
"The Untamed" Asian Drama Series depicts a story of two men (Wei Ying and Lan Zhan) from different backgrounds, who overcome numerous enemies, fight against social norms, and create an unbreakable bond. After exonerating Wei Ying from a long-list of evil doings he had been framed for, the two life-long confidantes are faced with the realization that there is more to their friendship than they had anticipated. Because some countries' cinema looks at LGBTQIA as a taboo, these two soulmates did not get the happily ever-after that they had ferociously fought for. In desperate need of closure, I couldn't help myself but to write an aftermath ending. Hopefully, you agree with how I left their tale off. Try to read the dialog in the characters' voices. I did, and I think I captured their personalities well. Kudos to the two main actors who did a brilliant job, as well as the rest of the supporting cast. That day at Nightless City, after Wei Wuxian fell from that cliff, Jiang Cheng stabbed Lan Wangji in the process. Lan Wangji didn't look back as he fell from that cliff after Wei Wuxian. The thing is, with the cultivation world thinking the two have died, Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were now free from their clutches. With a lot of work and effort from Lan Wangji to help Wei Wuxian stay alive, he eventually found help from someone who knows of their story and was willing to help them. That person helped bring Wei Wuxian back. The only thing they had to decide, clear Wei Wuxian's name or stay hidden. What will be their decision?
