They have only one thing in common the Angels' Cafe. She is a devoted waitress, and he is the "grumpy Scrooge" owner.

Sheldon has a splendid life with the comforts of family and friends who love him dearly and a wonderful café he could call his very own, but Alexa could not understand why he is so shallow and self-centred to appreciate what he has and stop taking it all for granted. 

Alexa, on the other hand, life was vastly different from that of her boss; her family cares for nothing but themselves and is not averse to sacrificing her well-being to attain it.

Deep down, she would give her all to have what he treated so callously as her own to love and cherish in all its entirety, but she knows that wishful thinking is a waste of time nor chances given without a price.

Here she was in the little mystical town of Mistle, where Angels are both celestial and human; with Christmas vastly approaching, Alexa finds herself hoping more than ever for a miracle of chance.

Let's see if a Shady stranger could be the one to give her the chance she sought and if she could pay the price.
