Star is an 8 year old girl who lives a life of turbulence and uncertainty. In her short life, she has been bounced between foster parents, each new family attaching a label onto her. "Aggressive"   "Crazy" "Slow"  are the most common. That is how she has fallen through the cracks of the system and lives in the worst of the worst. The people who foster for profit and a free punching bag. Because of this, she only assumes  the worst in humanity and has lost all hope. However, that all changes one day when she meets a couple who change her life forever and show her the true meaning of a family.

In this fan fiction, all if the characters in Supergirl are in high school. Kara is an alien from Krypton, Clark/Kal el had arrived only 14 years before Kara, so he was a year older on earth. Mike(aka Mon el from daxam) was sent to Earth when he was younger, so now he's the same age as Kara and everyone else in the gang. No one knows about these two being from a whole new Galaxy, except Alex knows about Kara. Kara is trying to fit in, while "Mike" is living life as the most popular kid in school.
