An alternate ending to the 2013 movie Man of Steel using characters from The Dark Knight, Batman vs Superman and the movie Fight Club I thought Man of Steel was great But watching Superman kill Zod and make his race extinct, seemed as excessive as the destruction of Metropolis The original alternate ending (the 1st draft of part 1) was the typical farm-boy meets Kryptonian girl and saves the day by proving to Zod that humans have redeeming qualities. It was only when I thought about what would happen to the narrator, Tyler Durden, after Zod made peace with Earth & Kal El, that I could see the potential for a real story. I should give advance notice to the readers who may be expecting a series of dramatic SuperHero versus SuperVillain fights, this is an anti-super, anti-hero story as it is told from the perspective of a regular-guy weaving his way through a Meta-Human conflict while keeping his eyes on the prize: (Faora Ul). Logically, the story focuses mainly on 'human' characteristics of the Superhero/Villain characters as well as developing DC-Comic's 'C-Listers' (Martha Kent/Lois Lane/Nathan Hardy/Perry White) into characters who are central to the storyline. Rated Mature for: Profanity Adult situations (no sex) Violence Smoking Ps: I use Italics to identify the narrator's inner monologue as well as distinguish dream sequences and other breaks from the narrative's reality, in addition to using italics for emphasis. Originally published here: November 2021, then periodically edited to clean up the typos, as well as sharpen the narrative... Which usually creates more typos... :( Thanks for reading Hope you like it! Cover is a still from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel

Kevin Beaumont hasn't always had it lucky. Knowing that his father is Bruce Wayne/Batman, the boy never knew his own father growing up, so he only had his mother Andrea Beaumont (formerly the grim reaper-themed killer vigilante known as the Phantasm) to raise him. Despite being raised by a single mother, Kevin lived a relatively normal life. And eventually, Kevin got to meet his biological father. But after Kevin's 21st birthday, tragedy strikes when the Joker tricks Superman into killing Lois and their unborn child, causing a chain reaction in which Metropolis is destroyed, and Superman murders the Joker out of revenge, now motivated to end world violence and crime, even if it means having to kill. This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father. With his family more broken now than ever, Kevin must overcome his damaged relationship with his estranged mother and must become a hero like his father, determined to stop Superman's new regime and rescue heroes that are missing. It'll take great willpower to bring hope back in a world of injustice. Inspired by the NetherRealm video game developed by Ed Boon and the comic book tie in written by Tom Taylor. Kevin Beaumont created by Tony Garcia, inspired by characters developed by Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, and Bruce Timm Princess Charity, Lynn Black, and Olympia Affair created by Charity Spencer Batman created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

Lois has mixed feelings about being pregnant . . Again. As much as she wants to have Clark's baby it's not in the cards for them. He's a sex god from another planet, she's a human. But this time just might be different. Loosely based on Justice League Doom and Tower of Babel. All my DC stories are connected and set in an AU but heavily inspired by Smallville, DCAU and Lois & Clark
