As a child, Rosie Haywood wanted to be an actress -- a "big star" in her words.  As an adult, her wish came half-true; she's the world's tallest woman, standing well over fifty feet tall.  Everyday life for her in Santa Infierno is a trip, whether it's reaching into the local Waffle Hut like a cookie jar, getting hassled by toy-sized townsfolk, or trying to ride the bus like a horse.  Poorly.

No matter her trials and tribulations -- and ever-empty wallet -- Rosie bears it all with a smile as she strives for stardom.  But pretty soon, she'll have more to deal with than mere auditions.  Santa Infierno's coming under siege by gang warfare, arms deals with guns pulled straight out of a sci-fi B-movie, and a government conspiracy primed to profit.  It's not long before Rosie gets wrapped up in it all -- and will either save the day, or make things a whole lot worse.

A modern Pride and Prejudice story. Only sexier. Mira is a refugee, starting a new life far from home. She has to deal with her troubled past, her son, and her enigmatic boss, while her only weapon is her killer sense of humor. It's a slow-building love-hate story, with a strong female lead; two control freak lawyers, fighting for dominance, in denial of their feelings; an alpha discovering his submissive side; lots of humor and humanism. ~73K words ~~~ Warnings: - Mild language. Characters talk like white-collar workers usually do in real life. - Chapter 43 has mild sexual content.
