[RETELLING THE EPIC TAKE OF MAHABHARAT]

#2nd position in magical awards in spiritual category by @Magical_Community

Originally The Mahabharata is believed to be an ancient Indian epic; Krishna -Dwaipayan Vyasa, himself a character in the epic, composed it; as, according to tradition, he dictated the verses and Ganesha wrote them down. Set at the end of what the Hindu
scriptures term Dvapar Yug or the Third Age of Man (which many
scholars date between 6000 BCE and 5000 BCE), a time when the
lives of men and gods still intersected, the epic weaves myth, hissory, religion, science, philosophy, superstition, and statecraft into
its innumerable stories-within-stories to create a rich and teeming
world filled with psychological complexity.

 The story moves with graceful
felicity between the very recognizable human world and magical
realms where yakshas and apsaras roam. Everything in the take ia either dependent on curses or vows (as I feel)

At the core of the epic lies the fierce rivalry between two
branches of the Kuru dynasty, the Pandavas and the Kauravas. The
lifelong struggle between the cousins for the throne of Hastinapur
culminates in the bloody battle oof Kurukshetra, in which most kings
of that period participated.

This is the my version of the story, I have never actually read mahabharat so events might differ. On the whole it is a fictional story.

NOTE: While, there will not be any graphic content included here, the story does revolve around a mature theme that deals with the patriarchal idealogy of women being objects only meant to serve & please men. ******* Hey all! I'm here with a new book! Note: This story is inspired & has the characters from the masterpiece that is Mahabharat but not all plots match the epic. I have no intention of dishonouring any of the characters of the original great epic. This is but a peice of fiction meant for enjoyment. The credit of this stunningly beautiful banner goes to my dear sakhi @Yudhiiwrites😘

Many more things are running through her mind and all she got from the mortal disguise of Lord Narayan, Krishna is, "Tum etihas ka hissa nahi balki etihas rachne aayi ho. Apni vaggya ka racaita tum khud ho. " (You're not part of the history. Rather you have come to create the history. You're the writer of your own destiny.) *********** Familiar with the Mahabharat? Don't worry if you're not. I've added a short description of the original Mahabharat plot in the book for those. This story will follow the original mahabharat storyline but in a vastly different way with a lot of twists and events in my style. 😉 I'm aware Mahabharat holds religious sentiments for some and I do not INTEND to offend anyone. This is for entertainment purpose only. So don't get serious or offended please. And I apologise in advance if you feel hurt by any content of the book.
