I stared at her as she ran through the crowd, her hair dark hair flowing behind her. Her white dress illuminating her making it easy for me to follow behind her. She looked so majestic.
She turned around with a smile and kept on telling me to hurry.
This has been the happiest I've ever seen her since we left the town. Where she was all depressed the place where she almost gave up her life.
When we got to the Ferris wheel there was barely any people there so we didn't have to wait long.
We got in an she sat beside me her back facing me as she looked down at the view.
"Rae?" I called
She turned around a smile still plastered in her face. Her hazel eyes burning like flames from the lights around us.
I hugged her making sure that her head rested in my shoulder.
"I fucking love you." I exclaimed happily.
She looked up at me blushing "I love you too."

We talk and laugh and she tells me I'm pretty and I ask her if she'd just noticed that and we laugh again. I realize the feelings I felt in that moment were not just the intense feelings of attraction that I felt every time I was with her. Warmth flooded to my face and if it wasn't for my dark complexion, my blush would be noticeable. "Obviously you don't understand the agreement." She repeated after quickly composing herself. I rolled my eyes, but let her continue. "Where you go, I go. Where I go, you go." She told me sternly. Her thumbs grazed my cheeks and heat rose on my skin where she touched. I couldn't tell if this was just Sophia being caring or if she was maybe feeling more. My brain told me that this was all a friendly gesture, but my body and it's stupid hormones were telling me that it was something more. And your brain can never really overcome true instincts. I moved closer towards her, shrinking the already limited space between us. This time it was Sophia's turn to blush which only made my smile grow larger. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
