Maya has lived all her life alone. Sent from one orphanage to the other, she's left on the streets when the house she was living in was destroyed by the Battle of New York. Four years later, and Maya stumbles into trouble: she's developed strange powers, and one year of her life has been completely wiped from her memory. It isn't until she runs into Thor that she starts to figure out what's happening to her. But first, in order to receive his guidance, she must help Thor: to find his brother, Loki, who has disappeared again but has been reported in several sightings. Maya doesn't know the trouble she's getting herself into, but as her powers grow stronger and stranger, she has no other option but to put her trust into the hands of a lost god and a mischievous god.
