Kestrel, the once princess of a great empire, is now on the run. Her parents killed by rebels, Kestrel is on the quest to find the truth. Why were they killed? When she does find the truth, she is thrown into doubt and confusion. Who can she trust? Who is really her allies? And of those allies, who will betray her in the end? And will she stay to fight her enemies, or hide?
