your name is Y/n. you've been friends with Toru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi for years now. they're in their third year of high school but you're still in your first year. they attend a different school than you though.

you're in Kurasuno High, and even been on their girls volleyball team. the girl's team didn't really practice much, so you dropped out and rather practiced with your best friends from Aoba Josai.

eventually you became Kurasuno's new manager and enjoyed it very much. you loved volleyball so much. just as much as everyone there.

(and yes, you have plenty of love interest's.)

"Y/n, could you please throw the ball for us? we want to practice a bit more!" Hinata asked.

you quickly nodded with a smile and threw the ball. you throw it right into Kageyama's hands and from there it went straight to hinata's spike spot.

this went on for a while and after that, the boys were tired. you on the other hand weren't. you missed the feeling of the ball in your hands, so you decided to give one set.

you asked the boys to move off the court and once they did, you took a deep breath and ran everything through your head that Oikawa and Iwaizume had ever tought you.

you opened your eyes and threw the ball into the air. you ran and jumped. with your full force you hit the ball hard enough for it to be a spike. a serve at spike strength and the speed of light. Oikawa would be so proud now.
you smiled to yourself and looked at Kageyama and Hinata.
"what?"
"Y/n, where'd you learn to serve like that?"
