Hellschool is a musical that talks about discrimination. Teens who go to a racist, homophobic, ableist, uncaring school take a stand and make the school a better place.

TW: This script does contain adult language, suicide, and some violence

Note from Star: Hello! Thank you for reading the script me and my friends wrote. Just to let you know that none of us are racist, homophobic, or ableist. (We are all LGBT and POC)
The antagonists in this story are resembling real world people.

We are working on getting this recorded and staged after the pandemic calms down. We do have more work to do with this script. We just wanted to share what we have.

Thank you for reading :)

This is the story of the Durban High School Marching Band in small-town California. It's a small but big-enough band with just the right number of students in each section. With this comes just a few great friendships... and even greater drama, fights, bullying, and division. Among the students and among the parents in the band boosters. This drama is at its peak early in the season, a little before band camp and even at points in between band camp and competition season. Their show this season, though, is themed from My Chemical Romance's album The Black Parade. Some are so excited while others are enraged about the theme. Watch how a few band kids stomp this drama, fighting, and bullying to help everybody finally get along. Many students in the marching band are fighting their own battles off the field. Why exactly do they finally take a stand for cooperation, kindness, and acceptance the very year they perform an MCR-based show? How will they end the Drama Parade and turn it into a Kind and Caring Parade for all? Most importantly, how do they end up being the best marching band on the west coast and winning the championships after all this drama and fighting which had left them hopeless for a while? Told in several different points of view, of some students and the band director. Rights to the inclusion of MCR members in this story belong to MCR themselves. I do not own these characters. WARNING: contains some homophobia, transphobia, racism, bullying, violence, foul language, and mentions of depression, suicidal thoughts, and anxiety. Please read with caution!

Ten different lives. Two boys. One night that'll bring them all together. Sixteen year old Nosa is okay with being a loner. He doesn't have social anxiety-- he's Catholic and his mum promised you can't love Jesus and have a disorder. He's just weird and he's not good at talking to people but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with him. It does mean that he and Irekan could never be friends. Irekan's parents moved them back to Nigeria to straighten him up-- literally. Being Nigerian and queer has never been easy but now he has to at least try to 'ungay' himself to keep his family together. And that means no falling in love with Nosa's stupid face. Two boys fall in love over novels, anime and rock music that's definitely going to get one of them killed. ❀Winner: 2022 Pride Awards Teen Fiction Category❀ ❀2nd Place Winner: 2022 Pride Awards❀ ❀Featured on the AmbassadorsNG reading list❀ ❀Featured on Stories Undiscovered August 2022 reading list❀ ❀Featured on AmbassadorsAF reading list❀ __Highest Rankings__ #1 wattpadnigeria (3/08/2022) #1 Africanbook (8/05/2022) #1 Africanlgbt (8/05/2022) #5 Blackboys (12/05/2022) #2 Nigerianbook (15/07/2022) #13 Young Adult Fiction (23/06/2024) **This is a bl and it features multiple queer characters. Dane has always been Mr. Chill. His friends think of him as the centered, calm, even kind of guy. He plays the piano. Bakes on the weekends. Does good in school. Always follows the rules. Everyone relies on him for comfort and support, knowing he is the poster boy for common sense no matter what the situation. But... Really, he has a past. And it's not pretty. Well, it IS smoking hot but he's not proud of it. And now that his past has come to walk the halls of his high school, his image as the boring but safe nerd is crumbling all around him. === This is part two of Best Friends. It will make far more sense if you read that book first. The description sounds kind of moody and dark, but actually, honestly, it's going to be funny. There's a high school musical, lots of gay sex, and angsty misunderstandings and mix ups. It's my version of Nerd/Jock . Enjoy!!
