soul mate /ˈsōl ˌmāt/ noun: soulmate a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner. ~•~•~•~ John Laurens and Alexander Hamilton are roommates at King's College, but there is one downside. They can't stand each other. To John, Alex is just a stuck up snobby smart kid who wants nothing to do with anyone. Alexander Hamilton, an 18 year old senior, popular, and has a girlfriend named Eliza. Little did anyone know, girls aren't his only preference. (I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real. In it, Laurens works the night shift at a coffee shop (who knows if a 24 hour coffee shop exists, but in fiction, anything is possible), that Hamilton decides to go to when after he gets struck with writer's block.
