She teaches him how to see the light of things and changes him for the better. he teaches her how to be a warrior and a fighter. She then becomes the first female warrior fighting in a battle

Dragons are the apex predator. Seems pretty straight forward, but because of their threat, they have to be killed. That's pretty much the way of thinking for Kinsey and her dragon killer squadron, until Kinsey makes a mistake. She and a fellow knight, Aldwin, screwed up and lost one of their dragons and so the king puts them in charge of hunting it down and killing it. Aldwin is a smaller man with a past that no one really knows of. He's always the knight who either messes up or makes a mockery of the squadron. Kinsey absolutely hated his guts for ages, but during their trip to capture the dragon, Kinsey discovers a new side to him. Then there's Audrey, the fittest most charming, and most handsome of the dragon killers. Not only is he irresistible, he already likes her. Besides these two men, she gets kidnapped by the dragon she was supposed to kill. Suddenly, she's thrown into a whirlwind of confusion as she befriends her worst enemy and falls into a terribly conflicted love triangle, but through all of it, she believes the dragon is steering her right.Complete

The only difference is, is that her secret is that she's part dragon. Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny? He's got a huge crush on her. She's also adopted so that's why she's a dragon too. Although not American. She wasn't born American anyways. They don't exactly know each other's secret as of right now and so she have no one to help her. Looks like she's on her own she never belonged with humans anyways. After a bad war, the kingdom of riverflood was trying hard to scramble to their feet. When their king Apollo had a flower parasite that injected from his right eye, the kingdom worried if their king is dying. For as the flower didn't bother him, and it is fairly friendly, it only bothered is eye sight. Still the kingdom was scared that one day the flower would end up killing him in the end. With him being the only Arkan left, what would become of the Arkan throne? Without him being married and of no son to take over his spot, what would bece of the little kingdom? To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever?
