Kate has only ever dreamed of one thing. To experience the magic of Kathrowien, lands of the elves. When the opportunity shows itself she does not think twice about it.
Chess is the crown prince of Kathrowien. That means not only keeping his realm safe from the horrors they hold, but also making sure they don't enter other realms. And he should never bring a human to his lands. Least of all a servant, or maid as she preferred to be called. But he did not want to stop her. There was something so familiar and calming about her.
