Gundham Tanaka, the Ultimate Breeder, was supposed to die. He had committed the most foul of sins: murder. He had killed a man. As the verdict ruled him the guilty suspect of Nekomaru Nidai's murder, he was satisfied. He had saved his friends from starving to death and he would get his punishment that he so rightfully deserved.
So...why did he survive?
