susan pevensie never recovered from her family's death. after a disastrous attempt to live it up in america, she moves in with her uncle and aunt with two babies on the way.

now susan is an old woman. she has never met her grandchildren. she invites them to stay with her for a month under the pretense of cleaning out the attic. but the older few can tell there's something else going on.
