Brienna was born second, which meant sipping on tea as her brother ruled Pheros from their golden kingdom. Wanting nothing more than a simple life away from court the princess is set on a war path when her father forces her engagement to the prince of their sworn enemy in the north. Dragged to the snowy kingdom full of evil magic and creatures of the forest that snatch children from their beds, Brienna plans to be so horrible Crown Prince Anlen has to send her home. But she soon learns the prince's tender heart and a passion for peace is hard to ignore and besides that people in the castle go walking into the deadly mist or go missing, a crazy ex-lover seeking revenge, and a voice that wont stop following her. Brienna can't tell if she is in a nightmare or a dream.
