True story: Me and my friend (for the first part anyways) were sitting in class and I was bored out of my mind so I got a sheet of loose leaf out and I wrote something down on it and I passed it to my friend and, (at the time I didn't know it was going to turn out as a story), she wrote something down that I immediately started laughing my head off about and the whole class looked at me like I had gone insane. Anyways back to my story, it was the end of the day when I realized I could make it into a story, and my friend said "this is going to be interesting." So here I am making this into a story. I hope whoever's going to read this will like. *the story behind the story is true*

So, just a disclaimer. This is an old story I wrote for my four best friends back in middle school and I wasn't very good (I'm still not that good). I've tweaked it a bit but the plot is still the same. One of my friends, who's in the book, has asked me to put this up along with the sequel for some time now. So, yeah. Enjoy. Oh! And also, the cover is just using cats to symbolize my friends and I. The book isn't actually about cats. Also, the chapters are really short. --------- I've always dreamt of going on some amazing adventure with my friends but I never thought it would actually happen. Since then, I've conducted minor edits for comprehension and line delivery. I'm curious to hear your thoughts, dear reader... Or should I say, poor reader? This story's metanarrative began when a good friend of mine at the time had shared a document with a number of close friends, under the expectation of them collaborating to construct a creative piece. The founding writing, only a paragraph and written by that friend, was of a single undefined character narrating their spooky and memey adventure. I was either the only other person who cared and/or noticed it- so I wrote, along with occasional pitching in from him. I made it more personal by adding character stand-ins for my friends and acquaintances, named after fruits or vegetables. Furthermore, this was to give friends who are represented through these stand-ins an opportunity to properly operate their character within the narrative. That never happened, except with that friend who started the original document to me, to a small extent.
