After being stabbed in the back and left for dead by his accomplice, James Lawrence's life seemingly came to a bitter end, leaving behind his loving daughter, the only real family that he ever had.  But when death almost came for him, he came into contact with a creature of an unknown origin and in the end, he was given a second chance at life and to see his daughter again but at what cost?
When the past comes knocking and his daughter is caught in the middle of it, he'll do whatever it takes to keep her out of harms way, even if he has to embrace the parasite within.
