Tsukishima Kei has major trust issues from his brother lying that he was in the volleyball team. He looked up to him but when he found out the truth he started to believe that everyone is fake and lying to him. Even Tadashi Yamaguchi. Tsukishima is scared to tell anyone about him and his feelings, he told some to Yamaguchi.
Overtime Yamaguchi he started to think that this friendship meant nothing to Tsukishima. So he made friends to prepare his heart and mind when he loses his best friend. Of course Tsukishima notices this and his trust issues worsened
