What would you do if your best friend keep flirting with your boyfriend? Kyla was dating her high school sweetheart Shepherd but Nokuthula kept on trying to break them up.

Nokuthula badmouths Kyla to Shepherd hoping that someday he'll notice that she's the one who is right for him. Kyla sees all that and tries to ignore her feelings for Shepherd so she can save her friendship with Nokuthula.

Kyla meets Shepherd on a holiday in Victoria Falls where they have the best time alone, stolen romance moments, away from the Nokuthula drama. Their love grew stronger that no one can come between them.

Two years later, Shepherd's father, the workaholic gets a job offer to China. As much as Shepherd didn't want to go with the man he hated, he felt like he had to. He was his only family.Watching Shepherd leave was the hardest thing Kyla every dealt with, so as Shepherd. He promised he'd be back in three years.

Three years went down the line without him coming. She was still waiting and dealing with her family drama.
