One might consider this the golden age of Orario. The Zeus, Hera, Loki and Freya Familia's reign supreme and unchallenged 

Though Zeus and Hera were bested initially by the One Eyed Black Dragon, they were not completely destroyed and were able to flee. While the two licked their wounds, Freya and Loki grew 

They now plan to collaborate in the coming years to take on the great Drake once more 

And Bell just arrived in Orario, wide eyed and hopeful

The One To Save Us All by NezutheRatGod

Bell spent his whole life with his grandfather being told stories about heroes saving people and what it meant to he a hero and a man. Life was great until two great tragedies happened to him that forever changed his life. When he was only 9 years old he met his first God, but this God hated him for his grandfather and cursed by said God with a something that was akin to both a gift and a curse. His grandfather later returned home and found him on the ground withering in pain, while holding his bleeding shoulder that had a nasty bite mark on it. Seeing this, his grandfather promised him that he will give him something to drink to suppress the curse the God gave him, but even that only could do so much and the rest depended on Bells mental state to keep it under lock. The second tragedy was a couple years later, his grandfather died while out in the mountains and they could never find his body. After that Bell left his home village and went to Orario to begin his life as an adventurer and hero, like his grandfather always told him stories about. He struggled for a long time to find a Familia, but one day he did find a goddess who took him in, regardless of how weak he was or his curse. This is the beginning of Bells journey to he a hero and adventurer along with getting revenge against the God who cursed him.

Orario, a large city with the Dungeon at its very center. Here Adventurers of the Familia's of the various gods that live amongst them brave its depths. Within its many floors they combat monsters, collect Magic Stones, and collect loot. They then make money for their Familia's by selling what they collect. The Dungeon is seemingly alive, spawning monsters from its walls, repairing itself of all damages, yet no one seems to question these oddities. However one young Adventurer by the name of Leo Barclay wishes to uncover the Dungeon's secrets. An outcast amongst his Familia, Leo explores the upper floors of the Dungeon searching for any and all possible secrets. However when he stumbles upon a mysterious corridor that originally didn't exist, he discovers an all new layer to the Dungeon and with it a new mystery. This mystery only growing more compelling when he meets a strange girl that holds incredible power and a link to these strange corridors. Danmachi belongs to Fujino Ōmori and Studio J.C. Staff, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 belongs to Monolith Soft, I own my OCs.

Although Sigrid was saddened by the losses in her life, she never let it dampen her spirited nature. Inspired by her parents' legacies and her dreams of heroism, Sigrid decided to leave home and head to Orario when Bell was about one year old. She knew that in order to become the heroine of justice she always dreamed of being, she would need to hone her skills and strength as an adventurer. With the goal of protecting her baby brother, Bell, and the future familia she would meet, Sigrid was determined to become a strong adventurer. Despite the hardships and challenges she may face along the way, her sense of justice and unwavering determination would guide her on her path towards her ideal.

Years during the great war the devils, the angels, the fallen angels and dragons were causing nothing but chaos. Zeus the king of Gods had enough of all the chaos so he decides to make alliance with Achilles, medusa and Sub Zero leader the lin kuei. When Zeus, Achilles, Medusa and Lin Kuei enter the war they were able to deal with the three factions. Medusa summons two serpents named the good imoogi and the other one named buraki. When the dragons were having their battle unknown to them they awoken something that they never encountered before. Three dragons arises from the ground one dragon looked like it was made of pure crystal, the other dragon was dragon known to heavens it's body was blessed with high class holy magic and the last dragon was the biggest dragon anyone ever seen it's scales were pure gold with three heads. The nine of them changed the tied of the war ending it. Zeus, Achilles, Medusa and Sub Zero disappeared they were never seen again. The three dragons and serpents were turned into sacred gears no one has been chosen to wield their sacred gears. Until One day four teenagers had the blood of Zeus, Achilles, Medusa and sub zero running through their veins. Also four teenagers that were chosen to wield the sacred gears of the dragons and the serpents. I don't own anything other than the OC's.

Bell Of the Darkness by ZsFanFicts

So, this is my take on a what if scenario that I saw on Fanfiction originally. What if Bell had remained in Orario with his mother and ended up forming the Erebus Familia with Alfia and Zard. Also most things in this story my be subject to change depending on the eventual path I choose. Bell is 13 because he was born 5 years before Zeus and Hera set off to complete the three Great Quests. There will be obvious similarities as I based the first portion of it. However it should become apparent that there are significant differences in the stories by the end. I got a little more to add to this scene but I wanted to get it out because it had been bugging me as a writer. Also A Light Amidst the Darkness will be my primary focus for a while. So please only expect infrequent updates to this one for now. I also haven't thought out the beyond this introduction. I have ideas but no set narrative yet. So it will be a while before I get to the rest of this story.
