Different (Solangelo Fanfiction)
Three days in the infirmary. That's many how full days Nico will have with Will. They both want a connection between each other, but are too nervous. One of them might be planning to speak up. But everything about them is different. They are different from each other, and everybody else. What will happen in those three days? What will happen after those three days? What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will? How can Nico and Will keep it together? Are they going to end up going their own separate ways? Or is somebody else going to try to control Will? (Dun dun duuuunnn) Unfortunately, I don't own any of these characters. If I did, that would be the best thing EVER, but I don't. Nico has lived with that term all his life. Psychopath. He knew it was muttered behind his back when he walked through school. Thats how the world saw him. The boy who hears voices, the guy who talks to himself. Everyone defined him by his mental illness, and no one had ever bothered to know him. The word wasn't even accurate. Having schizophrenia was a pain sometimes, but it didn't mean Nico was crazy, even if the voices told him he was. The real ones, and the ones in his mind. The only person he could ever consider a friend would be his psychologist (aka his therapist), Jenny, who he had grown a strong connection with over the 4 years he had been going to see her. He didn't trust anyone else. Nico knew that no one would look past it all like she does. That is, until Will Solace enters the picture, the happy go lucky college student striving to be a therapist. What could go wrong? . This is a solangelo fan fiction and will have swearing, mental illnesses and there may be triggering moments that will have warnings. I will hopefully capture Nico's point of view accurately, and what he his going through, but I have never experienced schizophrenia so it may not be perfect. . Kinda going through editing? Everyone Deserves to be Happy (Solangelo)
Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride.
