She sent him every thought and feeling she could muster, meeting him for the first time, flying with him with Silveny, every time he made her smile, every time he been there for her, every time when his jokes made Sophie want to strangle him, every single feeling she felt when she was with him.
She pushed them out, one by one, repeating the words she said to him at the throne room,
"I'm here."
She opened her eyes and felt a great relief when she saw two familiar ice blue eyes staring at her. But they didn't show familiarity at all.

This is a Keeper of the Lost Cities fanfiction that takes place right after Exile. I've read all of the books, but I didn't want to place it after Neverseen because Sophie's life is in too much danger then to make this work well. In this story, Sophie gets invited over to Everglen by Biana for a sleepover and Keefe gets invited by Fitz. Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Will she go after him or honor his wishes? Spoilers if you haven't read Unlocked. But if you're like me and aching to read the next book I hope this fanfic will help you with the wait.
