After losing to Heller, Mercer decided to lay low and enjoy his retirement. Of course, not before giving Blackwatch and Gentek one last nail for their coffin. Maybe he could finally enjoy the peace, and perhaps Dana's forgivement after time heals everything.

He kind of forgot that he still has many runners around New York that did not answer his summon. That's a lot of minions without directions.

Now living in Detroit of all places, Mercer wonders if he really could survive living in this absolute menace of this city. On second thoughts, maybe he really didn't plan this through.

Say goodbye to his supposed-to-be quiet, daily life. 

But, hey.

At least he won't die bored.
