Kion lashes out, and in one terrifying moment, he nearly kills Rani. Horrified by what he's done, he does the only thing he can-he runs. Rani doesn't know why she goes after him. He is dangerous. He almost ended her life. But something about him feels different. She tracks him through the wild, determined to understand why she cares so much about a lion she barely knows. Kion is convinced he doesn't deserve healing. He doesn't deserve forgiveness. But Rani won't let him go that easily. He can't outrun his past forever.Complete
