49 parts Complete Mature
After years of drifting in the vastness of space aboard the Arc, humanity's last refuge is on the brink of collapse. The oxygen supply is dwindling, and with no other options left, a desperate decision is made: to return to Earth-a planet long abandoned after a cataclysmic solar apocalypse scorched its surface and altered its environment forever. A small group of survivors, led by former officers, scientists, and civilians, descend to Earth, each bringing unique skills and haunted pasts. They find a world both familiar and terrifyingly new. The sun's relentless radiation has twisted the landscape into something wild and unpredictable, while the remnants of humanity, now known as "grounders," have adapted in brutal ways to survive. Thrown into this unforgiving world, the group must navigate the dangers of their new home, from violent grounder tribes who see them as invaders to the scorched earth that seems intent on swallowing them whole. They face limited resources, hostile terrain, and their own inner demons as they fight not only to survive, but to build a future on this desolate planet. With tensions rising, secrets from the Arc threaten to tear the group apart just when they need unity the most. In the chaos of survival, they must decide what kind of world they will build amidst the echoes of the past-and whether they can hold onto their humanity in the process. Echoes of Survival is a gripping tale of resilience, sacrifice, and the relentless will to live in a world where everything is fighting to keep you down.

Imagine being one of the humans transported to a colossal planet where monsters lurk around every corner, and you have no guide, weapons, or abilities to rely on. You might think it resembles some dark sandbox RPG games, but it doesn't work that way. In the aftermath of a prophecy foretelling Earth's destruction, billions of people vanished from around the globe, transported to a planet called Eldrasia, a world the same size as Jupiter. People were scattered all across its vast expanse. The questions surrounding what happened to Earth and why they were transported remain unanswered; no one knows the cause of this phenomenon, and its mysteries elude understanding. Here, the full potential of one's being is unlocked; magic and super strength are possible, but abilities aren't granted automatically. Individuals must work hard to achieve and discover their hidden talents and skills, seeking knowledge in dangerous areas to fully understand and unlock their potential to survive and rebuild humanity. In this new world, there are no guides to lead the way. Everyone must rely solely on their instincts and determination to navigate deadly environments, unknown territories, mysterious civilizations, and ancient ruins. Eldrasia is a world within a world, filled with treacherous dungeons that contain traps and monsters eager to prey on the unprepared. Unlike anything found in games, these dungeons offer no easy loot; they test the limits of strength and resolve. Towering structures rise with thousands of floors that anyone can challenge, offering unique abilities, rare equipment, and unknown materials. However, reaching the top floor is shrouded in mystery, with rumors suggesting that Demons and Gods of this world reside there. This world isn't designed to be easy; it's a nightmare where every decision could mean the difference between life and death. --- 09/15/2024 - Present

"The difficulties lay not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping old ones" Technology had been playing its most important in the human lifestyle in this modern world. Everywhere we go every man on Earth, would have various gadgets around them. The world is now borderless. Everyone can communicate with anyone no matter where they are. There aren't any more boundaries between societies. Other than that, with the presence of the Internet man, could seek various kinds of information from multiple websites; be it useful or harmful. Death had not been any man's fear. Even though it is a fact that every man would pass to the afterlife when the time had come, they do not fear the consequences they had to bear later. Some mistakes weren't well observed as not everyone was gifted with good observation and understanding skills. Due to that, some man was blind by revenge. Hatred and revenge burnt in their heart and soul forgetting that the law is still being upheld. Letters and notes were old ways to express someone's feelings. With the new technology, many had decided to move on, using e-mails and social media to express what they feel. Having a note in a home compound might be exciting for anyone but not Addison Lore. Those notes were sent to her without fail for fourteen continuous days. Even a red ruby ring. Will she be able to escape the fate she was about to face? Or would she succumb to her unknown fate leading her to nothing but death itself? (JustWriteIt 2017)
My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series) by Chinesechickens123
63 parts Complete Mature
BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.
War for Change by Colby101001

Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. Requiem For A Warrior: The Book Of Levi by LevisLegend3210
2 parts Ongoing Mature
This Book is still in early access, so the exact Genre of the book is yet to be revealed. Read it and decide for yourself. Language slurs, violence, sex scenes are used throughout the book, it's beginner friendly as well...although I do advise, a sensitive reader should not read this. The fictional universe is set in medieval times between about 900-1300AD, but with a bit of a twist. The fiction will be set on a continent named Dark'ar. With four sets of land split up called The Northern Kingdom, which has Norsemen-like inhabitants, The Western Kingdom, which has Saxon-like inhabitants, The Eastern Empire, which has Arabian-like inhabitants, The Southern Wastelands, which has all kinds of different inhabitants, then finally, Riverpass Forest, which is situated in the middle of Dark'ar, which has tribal/native inhabitants. Everything is set as it was in 900-1300AD, except this fiction includes Bloodthirsty monsters, monster hunters, forms of slight magic, majestic plants and characters throughout the book. Note: The first instalment is set from a 1st person view. Which means that specific character is the one explaining the story, which also means his/her thoughts will be the ones accounted for. How the book is written. Examples: Inner monologue/thoughts: "Today is going to be lovely." Conversation between characters: Hafdan: Where is the trial? Isabel: It's vanished. The rest only requires basic reading skills. Enjoy!
