I am unwillingly taken out of his warm embrace and am lying sprawled on the concrete garage floor bleeding out. He gets on my face and tries to shake me while yelling my name though it's faint to my ear, but he's quickly pushed aside. "No.", I faintly whisper and then the world goes black... I fight to wake up and when I do, I see five blurry people moving about... and Duran on the ground, motionless and ashen. Then I return to the dark, cold place that engulfs me.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird.
