    Charity Argent made sure to stay far away from Beacon Hills. Ever since she found out what Kate did she's been on her own. She taught herself how to survive and defend herself, making sure not to become like the older female Argent. She would hunt the creatures that were dumb enough to make their way into the papers, or she would tag along with a pair of brothers, but they didn't see each other often.
    
    Protect people from the creatures that lurk in the dark and stay far away from Beacon Hills. It was a good system.
    
    Until it wasn't.
    
    Charity blames herself for what happened. If she hadn't spent her most of her life running from her family, Allison wouldn't have died. If she had been there to help, she could have prevented her death. It's all her fault.
    
    So, when she gets a call saying Kate Argent is alive and no longer human, Charity ventures to the one place she said wouldn't. All she has to do is help Scott McCall, make it up to him for not being there, get rid of Kate, and leave. Simple. Unfortunately, a supernatural deadpool with everyone's name on it puts a kink in her plans.
    
    And a newly turned beta seems dead set on keeping Charity in town. But Charity isn't looking for love. She's just trying to help and leave. In and out. She's lived by herself for five years, it shouldn't be hard... So, why does she have the sudden urge to be apart of a pack?
