This is a story that is about what I think would have happened if Blink never came through her portal at the end of the show. There are new characters, interesting storylines, and many character arcs.
After everything, the Mutant Underground has been through somehow it is still up and running. Andy and Lauren are struggling to deal with everything that has happened. Their powers keep malfunctioning. Lorna's stressed, how does someone put a nationwide group back together? Mia and Josh got found out by Sentinel Services. They were found by the Mutant Underground only by chance. Esme is trying to be good, making friends, helping out, but is it enough?
New challenges are faced every day. The Inner Circle is still up and running and they are trying to take the underground down in new ways all the time. The Purifiers are still attacking mutants at an increasing rate. Sentinel Services was hunting Mutants and they were getting closer and closer to the Underground. It was only a matter of time.

When Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr go looking for other mutants, in a great effort, to stop the world from going into a third world war, they are surprised by who they find. The first of the three that were found last is a girl who goes by the street name of a Dive, who was soon revealed by Charles without a protest from her, to be able to manipulate all sorts of water, and even turning herself into water for limited amount of times, using it to move, from place to place. The next mutant they find, is a boy that goes by Circuit. His powers were quickly revealed to be the powers to manipulate, absorb, and even temporarily to become the lightning, as well as electrical energy that he absorbs and then uses to power himself up. He is also said to be able to completely destroy metal and things made of metal if he pushes enough electrical energy through it, causing it to explode in response. The last of the three, is perhaps, the most dangerous mutant of them all. With telekinetic abilities to rival that of Charles Xavier, the girl who now goes by Second she would be a very good and very useful ally to their cause... if only they could get her to stop speaking through images in their heads. She insists with images on being called Second but they choose to all call her Instinct instead. Charles understands them all since he knows from searching through their minds, that they have, quite all of them, been through hell in their young lives. When the time comes to fight for what they all need to know that they believe in the three mutants all are to choose. Do they stay continuing to lock themselves away and only conversing with each other and on certain occasions, someone else? Or will they learn to see the world like the others do, and learn to see that not everyone who is in the new world now, isn't just like the others who sought to all destroy it before? Fault Lines
Grace was the quintessential sheltered girl. Her parents had gone through hell to have her and in a sad twist, instead of letting her enjoy the life they'd finally (finally!!) given her, they'd made her afraid to actually live it. And Ben, even though he came from a more laid back household, with a single mother and a lot of rambunctious brothers, he had been in all her classes and there wasn't much Grace's parents could do to keep them from bonding during school projects. But sadly Ben had passed away in a car accident fall of Junior year. So, essentially, Grace was a boiling pot waiting to be pushed. Jack has always known he liked Grace, his twin brother's best friend, but he never dared to act on it. She was shy, and only ever truly came out of her shell around Ben, Jack's twin. When tragedy strikes and Ben dies, everything changes, and Jack finds himself drawn to Grace in ways he never expected. But just when their connection begins to grow, another tragedy tears them apart, leaving Jack broken and Grace on a journey of personal growth. Years later, fate brings them together again.
