Kachina Sinquah is running. She has to escape her ex. With her nursing background she runs to a  Navajo reservation her friend, Shuma, resides on. Kachina is Hopi, not Navajo, and is seen as an outsider. As she struggles to find her place in her new found freedom, she finds herself beginning to look for comfort in a man, Ahiga. But he is mysterious and seems to ignore her in public. As she goes on in her new day to day life, trying to distance herself from her painful past, she begins to become more and more drawn to Ahiga. Strange things begin to happen. Things that aren't plausible. She feels someone, somewhere, is watching her. And her memories won't let her be- no matter how hard she tries to forget.
