At five years old Nimue moved to Camelot to live with her uncle, the kings own adviser, Merlin Ambrousius. What if Arthur wasn't always a prat, what if he had met someone who is his true love. Her name is Isabelle and she is a lady in waiting. Her parents are lord and lady, under the king. Oh and she has magic, inherited from her mother. Isabelle story is a difficult one cause she was about the marry Arthur, when she lost her name and high standing. She was embarrassed and cast a very powerful spell, that she made everyone forget about her and her parents. They went to live in Ealdor, where Merlin also lives with his mother,, she became fast friends with him as then she realized that she is with child and its father is Arthur. I'm Not King Anymore (Merthur Short Story)
I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. Warnings: malexmale relationship, some language might be considered crude, mentions of m-preg. Mentions of thoughts of suicide.Complete
