I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. I hesitate. Why did I have this strange feeling? This strange aura behind the door. It wasn't like a threatening kind of feeling. But it was strange. Servant to the King." she says. "....no." I say softly. This can't be happening. "I'm your daughter." she smiles. My daughter. Who I didn't even know existed until now, is standing right in front of me. Will be responsible for the fall of Camelot. The beginning of Morgana's rule.
