What is the meaning of this?" the brown haired one, Anne she was called, yelled. I stared into her eyes with confidence and pride. However I was dying inside. My heart was heavy and it began quivering in my chest. Thoughts were shuffling in my mind thus rendering my powers of intelligence and critical thinking useless.
"Calm down, everything is under complete control. There's no need to worry," I explained with that false confidence. That was a lie. She had every right to worry, but she didn't need to know that.
Alexandra Augustus, a descendant of a British king, is an aristocrat living in a world where Great Britain is a republic. She is bored with her monotone priveleged life as she forced within the confines of her inner cicle and to hide behind fake smiles of content.
However her life makes an interesting turn with she inherits her royal ancestor's summer palace. As she manages the mansion, she discovers the secrets that it is hidden within its walls. Will she uncover the truth of this palace and travel through history to with her ancestor.
