She wants to make herself practically invisible because she's scared of what my happen if people get too close . One day in writing class Halia meets Kai who has a power.... or so she calls it. He can only be seen if people think about him. He is practically invisible. The two are forced to work together on the project, but how can they when she can't remember who she's working with? Halia must question her motives on whether or not letting people in, really is such a dangerous thing.
