The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. Well, this wasn't exactly what Sebastian thought he was going to have to deal with when he came to this forest. He was looking for a werebear that had lost its mind somewhere out here. But now he seemed to stumble upon a werewolf instead. He must have been in really bad shape to be that far gone. He was glad that he had found the right song to sooth and calm him. Now that the beast's rage was gone, it was slowly transforming into a human form. He hadn't really dealt with werewolves that much. They usually knew how to handle themselves and conduct themselves accordingly with society. It made this one all the stranger of an experience. "It's okay, buddy," he pet its head. "You're alright now. Rest your head and know that you are safe." The beast's head was resting on his lap as he hummed softly at it.
