Katie Atwood-Smith is a girl. A girl who moved to Casper, Wyoming from San Jose, California. It's a big change, moving from the most populated state to the least. Nevertheless, she tries to make light of the situation and enjoy her time at her new school. But to be honest people are draining and she'd rather be at home tending to her plants.

Andrew Brown is a boy. A boy who's lived in Casper, Wyoming all his life. He's never really been interested in other people's affairs, and has kept to himself. But when a new girl comes to school and piques his interest he can't help but get more involved.
